Zeytal is an in-house project at Hyperstonk.

We update this case study frequently so you can follow the project’s development. This case study will document the initiative’s embryonic phase to its concrete realization.

1. The concept.

We are creating a tool to facilitate digital product design, creation, and maintenance. In other words, we’re making a “from Figma to dev in one command line” tool.

2. The context.

We’re investing all resources we have at our disposal to make this bootstrapped initiative work.

We also invest all our skills in this, such as branding, naming, business strategy, positioning, logo design, digital product design, web development, etc.

We won’t raise money for this because we want to keep our primary focus on solving real-life issues, not pleasing investors.

3. Embryonic phase.

Timeline: From March to December 2024.

We made a command-line interface tool you can use in your dev environment to pull all the data you need from your Figma files with simple command lines.

For example:
Type pnpm zeytal styles to transform all your variables and styles into code files like JSON, SCSS, etc.

Now that we have the core of Zeytal’s magic, we need to give the keys of the kingdom to the people.

To do that, we’re working on a simple web app that allows users to list the Figma files from which they need to pull the data.

We also made a simple product tour for people to see how easy it is to use.
